Hello Gali,
The 3rd Edition of the Herbarium Handbook briefly mentions curation on page 114. The book Myxomycetes : a handbook of slime molds by Steven L. Stephenson also has good curation tips.
I recommend using archival PVA glue to affix the substrate onto archival heavy paper (like a trimmed herbarium sheet) so that the specimen can be viewed under a dissection scope easily but can also go into a small box. How you then store these boxes varies. We store them in our standard packets with the labels on the outside of the packet.
Myxomycetes are great fun though a challenge to work with!
Genevieve

Dear NHCOLL-listers,
Are any of you here working with Myxomycetes? If so, I'll be very glad to learn of how they are stored in your collections, considering that they are usually sitting on something (dry leaf, etc.).
Thanks,
Gali
