This is probably far past your interest, but there is a reference to William Clark McIntyre in an article by contemporary biological collector Walter J. “At Guayaquil we stopped for three days where two excursions into the surrounding woods and marshes were made with Mr. William Clarke MacIntyre who came down from Banos in the Oriente of Ecuador to visit me.” page 19.
