Subject: [aims-symposium] Day of Digital Archives 2012

Hi all,

SAA inspired me to try and do a Day of Digital Archives again this year: October 12th to be exact. Some of you participated last year and some of you are just people who I think might be interested in participating (see a description and last year's blog here: http://dayofdigitalarchives.blogspot.com/). We'll just use the same blog platform as last year to simplify things. I've tweaked the hashtag to #DayofDigArc to make it a bit shorter.

So, if you would like to participate again or for the first time (and please, please do! I think it was a lot of fun and we continue to get pretty solid traffic on the blog from Google searches on these topics. I've had more than one young professional contact me with questions based on having found the blog), please contact me and spread the word around to other colleagues you think might be interested. I'll post some listserv messages soon to find some other participates and to generally publicize, but any help in this arena would be welcome.
