[Personal_archives] SISPA Minutes & news

Dear SISPA,
Please indulge me for airing some very nebulous thoughts with regard to the
ACA conference.  I have been thinking recently about theoretical challenges
to the concept of personal archives and how these play out with regard to
artists' documentation.  Basically blowing up the fonds concept a bit, and
looking at the intersection between people and institutions, and possibly
getting into public programming.  What I lack (utterly) is experience with
innovative technological approaches in this area so I'm struggling a bit
with the conference theme -- maybe our program chair can chime in here with
some supportive words -- anyway, if anyone out there is thinking along
similar or wonderfully contrasting lines, please be in touch and perhaps we
can develop a panel session together.
