All--

You may be interested in attending the opening for a new Beinecke Library
exhibition: "Tending toward 50: A History of Chelsea Review, featuring
author portraits by Gerard Malanga" on April 11 at 5:15pm at the library
(121 Wall Street, New Haven). Chelsea Review editor Alfredo de Palchi and
poet-photographer (and Warhol collaborator/Factory regular) Gerard Malanga
will both be in attendance and there will be ample opportunity to talk with
them. Exhibition details follow.

Cheers,

NK

"Tending toward 50: A History of Chelsea Review, featuring author portraits
by Gerard Malanga"
Since its establishment in 1958 as Chelsea Review, the literary journal has
served as an important voice for original poetry, prose, and works in
translation. As the 50th anniversary of Chelsea approaches, an exhibition
will highlight the evolution of the journal. Accompanying the archival
items on display will be a group of photographic portraits of Chelsea
contributors by Gerard Malanga, acclaimed poet and filmmaker.
