[Wgcp-whc] Friday session canceled--however some books are available

Dear Friends,

regretfully we have decided to cancel this Friday's session of the WGCP. It seems that all the copies of Nilling, Robertson's collection of poetics essays, have arrived but only a handful of R's Boat (her book of poems) have appeared. If it had been reversed, we would have this Friday's session, but to try and focus only on the essays seems not the best bet. With luck, the rest of the copies of R's Boat will materialize very soon--perhaps arriving even late today (and thus available tomorrow). I will keep you posted about the arrival of the U.S. post.

Later this afternoon, copies of Nilling and those few copies of R's Boat will be on the shelf in Room 116 of the Whitney Humanities Center. Anyone who believes they will make it to the session on March 1 is welcome to take one--and copies do go quickly.

At some point next week I'll ask if anyone has questions that I might forward to Robertson (and to the rest of the WGCP) so we can at least have some sense of the conversation that we will develop when next we meet.

Again, our thanks for your patience and understanding as the effects of the storm continue to rock our boat.

yours,
Richard Deming, Group Coordinator
