Hello Dr. Guerrero-Medina!

We are writing to apprise you of a fantastic summer employment opportunity for Yale undergraduate and graduate students.  If you could, would you mind sharing this opportunity with the students who make up your organization and community?

Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is a summer academic enrichment program for 16 & 17 year-old students from all around the world.  YYGS hires Yale students to serve as instructional staff to teach and mentor the 1,800-odd students who visit New Haven each summer to participate in one  of our four academic programs.  YYGS is a great way for Yale students to gain teaching experience, enrich themselves academically (our instructors design and teach their own courses), develop their skills at collaboration and building community, and make some good money!

In addition, we are holding informational sessions where interested students can learn more and ask questions.  The info sessions will be held on the following dates:

- Friday, November 10, 2023 from 3:00-4:00 PM at WLH Rm. 309 (100 Wall St.)
- Friday, November 17, 2023 form 12:00-1:00 PM via Zoom
Both of these events require registration via YaleConnect.

Interviews will begin soon and we will be hiring throughout the fall and winter. We will have rolling applications, but we anticipate filling all positions by early January 2024.
