Greetings,

OpenLabs is currently seeking volunteers to participate in this year's iteration of Science Café. The event will take place on December 3rd from 1PM-4PM and will consist of multiple science demonstrations and interactive stations that are followed by short talks from Yale graduate students or postdocs. Volunteers can select to participate by helping set-up the stations, running the stations or cleaning up after the event is over.

Students or postdocs interested in presenting, will need to audition with Science Café leadership and participate in a practice session prior to the event. Auditions will occur in the last week of March. Speaking at the event is great practice for anyone interested in communicating their science to the public, last year we had over 200 participants attend the event.

If interested in volunteering or speaking, fill out this form: https://forms.gle/N7Q5RDKJtcifw1dG7

Examples of previous talks are available on our YouTube page: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKTJg3rZooziV4f1zcOWwKkGbLR3p2uUW
