Dana Sonnenschein and Chris Torockio read from their poetry and fiction
Thursday, November 13th at 8 p.m. in Engleman A120 on the campus of
Southern Connecticut Sate University, 501 Crescent St., New Haven, CT

Sonnenschein's poetry chapbook, CORVUS, won the Quentin R. Howard Prize and
was published this year by WIND. Her poetry has appeared in APPALACHIA,
BLUELINE, CALAPOOYA, THE INDIANA REVIEW, THE IOWA REVIEW, THE SPOON RIVER
POETRY REVIEW and other periodicals. She teaches literature and writing at
Southern.
Chris Torockio's collection of stories, PRESENCE, was published by St.
Andrews College Press. He has published recent fiction in ASCENT, DENVER
QUARTERLY, THE IOWA REVIEW, NEW ORLEANS REVIEW, SOU'WESTER and other
periodicals. He received a 2003 Pushcart Prize special mention, as well as
grants form the Connecticut Commission on the Arts and the North Carolina
Arts Council. He teaches at Eastern Connecticut State University.
