[Yale-readings] SCSU Reading: 2-25, Sandra Rodriguez Barron and Suzanne Frischkorn

Fiction writer Sandra Rodriguez Barron and poet Suzanne Frischkorn will read from their work Wednesday, February 25th at 8 p.m. at SCSU, in Engleman D253, the Common Room.



Barron was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in El Salvador.  Her debut novel, THE HEIRESS OF WATER (HarperCollins), won the 2007 International Latino Book Award, was chosen as a Borders "Original Voices" selection, and has been translated into Spanish and German.  She is a sometime adjunt at Southern.



Frischkorn's first full-length collection is LIT WINDOWPANE.  She is also the author of several chapbooks.  Her work appears in numerous literary journals and anthologies, including ECOTONE,  INDIANA REVIEW, and CONVERSATION PIECES: POEMS THAT TALK TO OTHER POEMS.
