Marina Keegan's The Opposite of Loneliness

Marina Keegan '12 was a writer, actor, and activist who died in a car accident five days after graduating magna cum laude from Yale. Her short stories and essays (most of them written at Yale) have been collected in The Opposite of Loneliness, a book that Nicholas Kristof has called "a triumph" and the Hartford Courant has called "The ultimate read for Gen Y, by Gen Y." Marina's nonfiction writing teacher, Anne Fadiman, will introduce the event and read with two of Marina's friends, Michael Blume and Rachel Strodel, as well as Marina's high school English teacher, Beth McNamara. Marina's parents, Tracy and Kevin Keegan, will join the readers at the end to answer questions about Marina.
