William Meredith Foundation Award 2015 to Andrew Oerke – Reading and Celebration

Andrew Oerke's  Poetry, including three prize winning books from the William Meredith Foundation for 2015, The United Nations Writer's and Artists Association, and the Peace Corps Writers will be read by Yale Faculty and U-tube presentations of the writer himself reading. Oerke's entire career doing service to mankind by instituting microenterprise among African women in Kakamega Kenya commencing in 1966 developing into 68 nations was colored by the life he spent in Evangelical Lutheran Churches as a youth where his father and grandfather as ordained clergy were founders of a dozen churches in the Midwest during 1880-1910's.
