Dear NACO catalogers,

If you go to PC Amigo, you can now download a new version of the RLIN21
NACO client. It will overlay your old test client. Remember, we are not to
rename the icon or move the software after it downloads--this is so Systems
can later remove the test client from our machines in an automated way.

Most of the changes in this version are for NACO contributors who use the
"gen" command to generate authority records from bib records in their own
local systems. Obviously, this doesn't affect us right now as we are not
set up for that (yet!).

But some other changes do--most notably, the default status for new records
is now "s" for "saved" rather than "p" for "produced", which is good news!
Also, it looks like the index descriptions in the search interfaces for the
authority files have been revised. It is much easier now to tell which
indexes are Browse searches and which are Find searches.
