Dear NACO catalogers,
I was just getting caught up on messages posted
to the OCLC-CAT list and came across the
following OCLC system alert (about newly
added/replaced authority records not getting
indexed in a timely manner). Please take this
into consideration when doing your NACO work and
be on the lookout for problems.
This morning I found 3 duplicate NARs in our
online save file (which have since been taken
care of by the catalogers involved); they might
have been created as a result of this problem.
