Dear NACO catalogers,

See below for more on the problems with the OCLC save file. They
recommend that we retrieve our saved records by save file number, so
be sure to write down these numbers for easy record retrieval. Or you
can leave the search boxes blank so that you retrieve *all* the saved
records and then sort the results to find your heading.

Subject: Re: Cataloguing Search Online Save File Satus

We are experiencing some delays in save file indexing, and we are
investigating how this can be improved.

However, if you search by specific save file number that is indexed
immediately. Requesting a display of all records in the online save
file (search without entering any search term) will retrieve records
immediately as well. I know that isn't as efficient as searching by
source, but it might save some time.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

--Linda
