Yes, all of the additional 3xx fields are OK to add to AACR2 NARs so after changing the Desc Cat code to c and removing rda from 040 it can be added to the NAF w/out LC review. The bib record can still be coded as rda, since you're following pcc policy for pre March 31.

Do not create hybrid AACR2/RDA authorized access points in establishing new headings or in making additions to existing headings. Follow one cataloging code or the other in establishing authorized access points. Catalogers making additions to AACR2 headings or making new headings based on existing AACR2 records will use AACR2 rules and appropriate LCRIs. Catalogers making additions to RDA headings or making new headings based on existing RDA records will use RDA instructions.

Also, for NACO catalogers, watch out for the required exception for Works in example 5. As far as I can tell, it only applies to Works and not to specific forms.

Then I should probably withdraw no. 56 from review, which I sent out yesterday, and just produce?

It just occurred to me that Germany. Bundestag is AACR2; so the new record has to be coded as AACR2 as well. Since the RDA rules for subordinate government bodies and subdivisions haven't changed from AACR2, the 2 RDA rules cited still apply, but the authority record needs to be coded as AACR2 & can't go in the RDA queue.

The application has been inconsistent for sure. But I think the rules I cited apply.

I created #55 based on numerous examples of authority records for "Germany. Bundestag. Enquete-Kommission...", including at least one created by LC.

55. Germany. Bundestag. Enquete-Kommission "Nachhaltige Engergieversorgung unter den Bedingungen der Globalisierung und der Liberalisierung"
[Steven Arakawa]This falls into RDA 11.2.2.19, Type 2. (includes term implying administrative e subordination: Kommission). Following 11.2.2.20, establish without "Bundestag" and make a reference from Germany. Bundestag. I would also make a reference from the Enquete-Kommission.

3. Sanden, Gabriel, 1885-1933 [Steven Arakawa] I was going to suggest establishing the pseudonym, but your citations back up the Charlotte Bronte rule--all reference sources consulted enter under Sanden, ergo the Sanden name is "best known under" which trumps the usage in this case. I think the LCPS not to qualify with the fuller form unless there is a conflict [9.19.1.4] would apply to references as well as the established form.
