Appendix F Indonesian names. F.6.1.7. Distinguish titles used as such from the same words adopted by a person as elements of his or her name. When in doubt, treat the words as a title.

9.2.3.10: Honorary titles & terms of address.

I defer to Dorothy in whether the H. is considered an element of the name or a title, but the written out form is assumed to be Haji (meaning the person had made the pilgrimage to Mecca). In her AACR2 training by LC, the direct form reference always gave the Haji in written out form, and a direct form reference with the abbreviation for Haji was never made. This was not documented in the LCRI, as far as I know, & isn’t in LCPS either. Ric, could you ask the LC liaison whether this is still considered best practice with RDA authority records?

12 Bernal, Jesús, 1976- 374 – The plurals seem odd to me, even if from lcsh. Is this what we’re supposed to do?

34 Convento de Regina Coeli (Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Spain) 670/1 – Delete final punctuation. Looks O.K. to me otherwise. Question about 370. Is subfield e sufficient, or do we also need to provide subfield c?

32 De Fornaris, Fabrizio, -1637? I updated by adding 370 (he’s Neopolitan, but wasn’t sure of the connection) and 400/3; removed period from final 370

11 Cini, Desiderio 370 is now subfield a; added 374 Dramatist (partially following SRA’s suggestion to use Dramatists |2lcsh Can we get a ruling on the singular plural issue for 374?

Bianchi, Lodovico  (no2012103131; inadvertently produced, but it can still be updated if necessary) Didn’t update with 374 Dramatist, but it could be done. Not required.
