Subject: [OCLC-CAT] Connexion Client 2.40 and the GenerateAuthorityRecord macro

I sent this question in June and didn’t hear back from OCLC, but this was around the time of the ALA conference. I’m sending it again, since it may have been lost in the hoopla of ALA:

With RDA we are using the 264 field instead of the 260 field. The GenerateAuthorityRecord macro does not fully recognize the 264 field. If I generate a personal/corporate/conference name from a bib with a 264 field, I don’t have my 264 $c information in the 670. If I try to generate a series authority record I get an error message.

Are there any plans to “fix” this macro to work with the 264 field or to provide a 2nd macro that will do this?

Thanks!
