[yul-naco] Tips for finding NACO records that need updating in OCLC

Dear Colleagues,



If you are currently working on obtaining NACO independent status for corporate and conference names, you may already be aware that you must contribute a mix of new and updated authority records. If you are looking for authority records to update to meet this requirement, you can use Command Line Search in OCLC Authority File to and search for authority records contains 667 THIS 1XX FIELD CANNOT BE USED UNDER RDA UNTIL THIS RECORD HAS BEEN REVIEWED.



Here are three examples. Record in the command line:



  *   co:inc AND nt:"THIS 1XX FIELD CANNOT BE USED UNDER RDA UNTIL THIS RECORD HAS BEEN REVIEWED"

to retrieve one of the 929 corporate bodies with the word inc. in an access point that need to be reviewed.



  *   co:association AND nt:"THIS 1XX FIELD CANNOT BE USED UNDER RDA UNTIL THIS RECORD HAS BEEN REVIEWED"

to retrieve one of the 4,114 corporate bodies with an access point containing the word association that need to be reviewed.



  *   co:conference AND nt:"THIS 1XX FIELD CANNOT BE USED UNDER RDA UNTIL THIS RECORD HAS BEEN REVIEWED"

to retrieve one of the 39,801 conferences with an access point containing the word conference that need to be reviewed.

Please consult the  Summary of Programmatic Changes to the LC/NACO Authority File (loc.gov)<https://www.loc.gov/aba/rda/pdf/lcnaf_rdaphase.pdf> when updating existing NARs with the 667 field.
