Good evening everyone,
There are several ArchivesSpace updates to provide today.
Infrastructure
Work finished yesterday to prepare and test a large multi-processor, large memory footprint physical server with solid state disk for ArchivesSpace testing. User testing is scheduled to begin tomorrow from 9:30am to 10:00am. We appreciate your participation and look forward to reviewing the results.
Database Optimization
No news to report today.
ArchivesSpace Core Code Review
The statement of work with Hudson Molonglo has been approved. Melissa Wisner will work with the firm to schedule the engagement with the hopes of kicking off the work next week.
Data Integrity
Lyrasis has reported that they will provide a response to our inquiry about the potential for data integrity issues to negatively impact performance no later than Friday.
Hosting
Lyrasis plans to turn around a proposal to host the Yale ArchivesSpace instance by end of this week/early next.

Ray
