Good evening everyone,

There are two ArchivesSpace updates to provide today.

Infrastructure
Work has finished to prepare and test a large multi-processor, large memory footprint physical server with solid state disk for ArchivesSpace testing. We have handed the system off to Maureen Callahan who will again coordinate these activities shortly.

Database Optimization
No news to report today.

ArchivesSpace Core Code Review
We received a draft statement of work from Hudson Molonglo today and requested that in addition to a full examination of our local instance, and review of the ArchivesSpace code, they focus in on three troublesome areas of the application:

  1. Saving an accession records
  2. Opening a resource records with many links
  3. Saving an archival object record

Our requested changes were sent back to HM this evening.

Data Integrity
No news to report today.

Hosting
No news to report today.

Our shared work document is again up-to-date and we invite you to review it at the following address - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z20GVHYnnQJ_rMeZPyiqBfc3m-oq0wr54husC9lLmJc/edit?usp=sharing. Please do not hesitate to reach me if you have questions or comments.

Thanks,
Ray
