Hi everyone,

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide ArchivesSpace training to the Yale community, we're going to be offering superuser training for anyone who wants to become more involved with how ArchivesSpace works under the hood. Our first session will focus on exploring the ArchivesSpace data model.

There are a lot of good reasons to learn this - understanding how ArchivesSpace stores your data (and how this relates to DACS, EAD, and YFAD display) can help you make better description decisions. It can also help give you a better sense of where automation is possible so that you can save time in your work. If you're working in systems that talk to ArchivesSpace (Aeon, Preservica, Voyager, GFA, FindIt), you can get a better sense of what integration points are possible.

We'll also be available through the Zoom service, so that you can watch this live from your desk and ask questions. We'll be sure to post the recording of this session, too.

I'll send more details and an agenda as we get closer. I hope to see you there!
Maureen
