[Yale ArchivesSpace] FW: ASpace Addon

Hello,

Last night, Steelsen was able to correct the reported issue by examining the sequence in which needed changes to the addon were applied on Monday. He has also increased the verboseness of the log files, which confirms the new dll files are in place, and any future issues would be pinpointed faster.

In terms of any possible slowness of the Addon, there are now response times noted for each of the ArchivesSpace endpoints/APIs used, so it will be easy to tell if slowness is related to a point in time/high use, or if it is due to an extremely large resource record in a collection.

Hi Melissa, et al,

We’re seeing a novel problem in Aeon when attempting to use the ASpace Addon:

We’ve replicated the problem on a number of workstations.

Further, on the user side, while the Request Box links within FA’s nominally work, they do not import the restrictions nor location info into Aeon. The “blank” webform’s lookup feature appears completely broken. These problems occurred on Monday morning as well.

Of possible note, I’d additionally received reports earlier today that the lookup service slowed down to a glacial pace.
