[Yale ArchivesSpace] Reminder: YUL ArchivesSpace Production Instance Upgrade Scheduled for November 17-19

Dear Colleagues,

Just a reminder that today at the close of business (5 pm) and running through the weekend, YUL's production instance of ArchivesSpace will be upgraded to version 2.2.0. This is an especially important upgrade, as it represents a necessary step in our efforts to implement the ArchivesSpace Public User Interface at Yale. It also includes a number of new features and improvements to existing features in the application.

The detailed schedule for the upgrade is as follows. Please note the dates and times when PROD will not be available for staff use and plan your work accordingly:


  *   November 17, 5 pm - All work in ArchivesSpace PROD must cease.
  *   November 18-19 - Upgrade in progress. ArchivesSpace PROD will not be available for staff use.
  *   November 20, 8:30-10:30 am - YAMS members will perform quality control of the upgrade for approximately 2 hours. During this time, staff members may not log in to ArchivesSpace PROD. An all clear-message will be sent out to the Yale ArchivesSpace user listserv when it is safe for staff to resume working in ArchivesSpace.
