[Yale ArchivesSpace] ArchivesSpace PROD is now open for staff use

Dear Colleagues,

The upgrade of ArchivesSpace PROD was completed successfully over the weekend, and you are now clear to log in and use the application again. Enjoy version 2.2.0!

As I mentioned in my message on Friday, I'd encourage you all to read Christy Tomecek's post to the Yale ArchivesSpace blog on the changes to component moving and reordering in this version, as it will be one of the more noticeable changes for regular ArchivesSpace users:

A couple of other changes in version 2.2.0 that you should take note of:


  *   A few features, such as the extent and inclusive date calculators, can now be found under a dropdown menu titled "More" in resource and accession records (please see the screenshot below to see where this button is positioned in the interface).
  *   When you export an EAD file from a resource record, you will notice in the dropdown menu that there is now an option to export a record encoded in the EAD3 schema. Please do not export EAD3 records for upload to YFAD, as our current iteration of YFAD does not support EAD3.
