[Yale ArchivesSpace] YAMS - Call for new members

Dear Colleagues,

The Yale Archival Management Systems (YAMS) committee seeks new members to join this fiscal year. YAMS oversees implementation, operation, system maintenance, and development of enterprise systems used by Yale University Library (YUL) special collection units for archival resource description, discovery, accessioning, collection control, and the description of people, families and corporate bodies. Our work primarily supports ArchivesSpace and Archives at Yale, including maintaining policies and best practices; setting priorities for development; and creating documentation and opportunities to train users at Yale. The Committee coordinates all matters pertaining to the development and maintenance of policies and best practices related to the use of these systems. Members attend biweekly meetings lasting one hour. Each term lasts one year, with an option to renew.
