Subject: [Desktop] Fine-tuning Desktop logout feature
Colleagues:
I would take a moment of your time to alert you to a couple of changes to Desktop's logout feature. The first, which is already obvious, is that we have enlarged the "Logout" link in Desktop's upper right corner. We're still working on this, but the intent is to make it easier to see how to log out of the service.
A second enhancement is a warning message that your Cataloger's Desktop session will be terminated due to inactivity before it actually happens. You will receive this a minute before logout. When this feature was installed this morning (it's still being fine-tuned), it was accidentally activated without the 60 minute timer attached to it, so a few subscribers were getting timed out once a minute no matter what they were doing. That has been fixed. If you are still experiencing this, it means that it's in your browser's cache. To resolve that, hold down your <shift> key and click the browser's <reload> button. That should do the trick.
Thank you for your continued support.
