Hello Voyager Cataloging Macro Express users.

I'm sending this heads-up about a Windows 10 macro that conflicts with the current Macro Express macro for inserting the RDA fields into a bibliographic record (336, 337, 338 fields).

The current Macro Express RDA macro hot key is Win+Alt+R.

Sady, that same macro is controlled by Windows 10 for a feature related to a particular brand of computer games. So when your computer is upgraded to Windows 10, you will need to change the RDA macro hotkey in Macro Express. I changed mine to Win+Alt+A. If you don't change the hot key, you'll get a strange message from Windows 10 about your computer game going wonky, when you try to use the "old" RDA macro hot key.

Also, for some reason several of my macros with time delays needed me to tweak those time delays. If you have a macro that is not behaving properly after Windows 10 installation, check the time delays, and increase the delay a wee bit to see if that helps.

All the best,

Patricia Thurston
