[NHCOLL-L:1806] Curatorial Associate Position, AMNH

The American Museum of Natural History is seeking a Curatorial Associate who
will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the mammal collections
and associated data; supervise staff responsible for specimen care and
maintenance, collection moves, pest management, databasing, loans, and
visitors; develop policies and procedures for collection care and database
design and implementation; coordinate planning for collection moves and
conservation projects and serve as liaison with other departments.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in biology or related field, experience in
museum collection and staff management, knowledge of mammal systematics and
taxonomy, and experience with databases.  Grant-writing skills, knowledge
of conservation methods and experience with database design desirable.
