Red-banded Hairstreak

August 12 - I was dead heading the buddleia in my yard (Killingworth), when
low and behold, I see my very first Red-banded Hairstreak!.  Unfortunately,
closer inspection revealed that it was being fed upon my an ambush bug.
Kind of a good news/bad news thing.  Yeah, it was dead, but had the ambush
bug not held on to it, I may have never known they were in my yard.
