Yomota book on recent cinema (E+J)

I read most of these essays as they came out in Sekai, and concur with Aaron
that this is a book not to be missed. I haven't read the introductory essay,
but if it's like the one he wrote for his equally fat book on Asian cinema
it should be interesting if not provocative. For those who can't read
Japanese, there is a good chance that it will be coming out "in a language
near you." Yomota has set in motion translations into a number of languages,
English, French, Italian, etc.
