COSTUME CONTEST
Any character from the world of Japanese fantasy is acceptable. The
contest will be held during the Saturday night costume party and will be
judged by our very special guests. Prizes will be awarded for First,
Second and Third place as well as a Best Junior category.
KAIJU KIDS COLORING CONTEST
The kids get a chance to color Godzilla, Gamera and all their kaiju
friends. Every entrant wins a prize and the ten best entries will be
displayed at the registration table and in a future issue of KAIJU-FAN.
AMATEUR FILM CONTEST
Video tapes should be limited to ten minutes in length and must contain a
minimum of 75% original material. Videos will be prejudged prior to G-CON
with the finalists screened at the convention. Submissions may be either
VHS or 8mm. Please send your videos to G-CON Video Contest c/o Daikaiju
Productions 890 East 14th street Suite 4B Brooklyn, NY 11230. Videos
must be received by July 30th, 1999. Make sure your name, address,
telephone number and the title of your production are listed on each
videocassette. Video can not be returned unless picked up during the
convention. Prize categories will be First, Second and Third as well as a
special junior prize.
