It was announced that Mizuki Yoko, the screenwriter for such classic 
films as _Ukigumo_ ("Floating Clouds"), _Kiku to Isamu_ ("Kiku and 
Isamu"), and _Himeyuri no to_ and one of the most important women in the 
Japanese film industry in the 1950s, has willed her home, papers, and 
copyrights to her work to the city of Ichikawa in Chiba Prefecture so 
that her house can be made into a Mizuki Memorial Museum after her death. 
 She is currently 85 and without any immediate heirs.
