Papers also announced that the Inari Shrine in Uzumasa, Kyoto, will be 
unveiling a laudatory tablet to Makino Shozo on October 1.  Makino is 
often termed the "father of Japanese cinema" for his work as a director 
and producer of early Japanese period films.
