I'm the wrong person... wish I could come to Tokyo, but that's not me.

Anyway, I saw a couple of movies by Noburu Tanaka and Seijun Suzuki
last week end. Both were very impressive, especially that weird tale about a 
peeping tom in the attic. Beautiful cinematigraphy, they don't make movies 
like this anymore.

Can anyone give me the essential books about japanese cinema that should be 
in one's private library (apart from Donald Richie's)?
