Hollywood remakes of Japanese films

No, it's going to be great.  You see, limbo is the detention room.  Kind of
like BREAKFAST CLUB but with better clothing.  And they break into the
janitor's office to get the close circuit video tapes to review their time
in education and get to choose what moment they want to steal and keep
forever.  The jock picks sports day, the prom-queen chooses the school play
and the loafer spends all day at the video deck because he can't seem to
find himself in any of the tapes.  Then someone finds the janitor's been
secretly taping the girls in the shower room and...

Personally I'm looking forward to Meg Ryan's LOVE LETTER where this wrinkled
old lady eventually gets over her college sweetheart after wasting fifty
years of her life.
