So the collective memory is an amalgam of Aum and Asama Sanso? Or is memory
here something personal (ficticious) and not referencing history?
By the way, those of you lucky enough to be within spitting distance of
_________ can go to an event that sounds very fascinating. Linda Hoagland, a
KineJapan member who has subtitled many of the films of the younger
generation, has put this together. The event combines the films of Kore-eda
and Hou Hsiao-hsien. It's quite an interesting combination! I'm happy for
Kore-eda, thrilled for Hou, and sad I can't make it myself.
