This is a Call for Papers for the 6th Asian Studies Conference Japan
to be held in Tokyo in June 2002.  The deadline for proposals
is December 1, 2001.  We welcome panels but also accept
individual papers.  Please check the ASCJ website:

All proposals should include the following:

1. title of panal, roundtable, or individual paper
2. names of all presenters including chair, organizer, discussant (for
panels) and/or organizer (for roundtables)
3. Affiliation, specialization, mailing address, and email addresses of all
participants
4. Explanation of the session (for panels/roundtables); abstract
for each paper to be presented
