Well, we read all these nice things about his films, but we can't see them
here in the US (even on video). And he doesn't seem any more available in
Europe.
(FWIW, it's his Ozu-esque reputation that makes me think I want to see him).

People also might be interested in which films of his are currently available
on video (in Japan at least).

Well, I guess I just have to check Japan Times regularly for your latest.
