Amazing show -- wish I had taped it. They covered the new
Gojira film and tokusatsu eiga, the Korean cinema boom
(with an amazing sub-segment showing examples of old
Korean seishun eiga that were copied shot-for-shot from
Ishihara Yujiro movies etc.), and the Hollywood/Japan
connection you mentioned (with a longish segment on actor
Mako). 

I think Kitano worded it that in Brother they had scenes
where they shot 
「白人」 (whites).
