Chaplin in Japan

Chiba Nobuo wrote a book on Chaplin's visits to Japan, CHAPURIN GA NIHON O
HASHITTA (Seiabo, 1992), which can easily be found in one of the antiquarian
bookstores specialised on cinema. Yamamoto Kikuo has also plenty of
references to Chaplin in his book NIHON EIGA NI OKERU GAIKOKU EIGA NO EIKYO
(Waseda Daigaku Shuppan, 1983). You could also look into WATASHI NO
CHAPPURIN (PHP Kenkyujo, 1977) by Yodogawa Nagaharu, who was a big Chaplin
fan.
