Yukiko Inoue in Shiota's Canary

Yukiko Inoue was a star of silent films by Ozu (all lost), Shimizu (Japanese 
Girls at the Harbor) and Naruse (Street Without End).

Her name appears in the credits for Akihiko Shiota's new film, "Canary".  If 
this is the Inoue of silent film fame I suspect she plays the part of a very 
sweet, old, blind woman -- who makes a paper flying crane for the young 
heroine).  

According to IMDB and JMDB, Inoue's last film appearance was back in 1934!

Does anyone know if this is THE Yukiko Inoue -- and, if so, how it came about 
she returned to films at such an advanced age (and after so long an absence)?
