Tennoji Tsutaya is the best in town. The Umeda Tsutaya is really good too but the Tennoji one had more oddball stuff that you don't see elsewhere.
Also, there's a great place in Juso if you get out of the station, go straight through the Shotengai and it's like the 4th intersection on the left..
Outside of that, if you want to buy movies, Den Den Town is the place to go for lots of second hand stuff. A lot of it gets picked through and it can be frustrating, however. I always had better luck at the smaller places but they are really hard to find and even harder to describe.

Subject: DVD Rentals, Osaka Edition
Hi all,
Everyone had such fantastic suggestions for Tokyo DVD rental
shops at Mitch Cullin's behest, so I thought I'd ask and see if
anyone knew of anywhere esoteric and interesting in my soon-to-be
home, Osaka. Anywhere in the city is fine...where's good to go?
Many thanks in advance,
-Tom.
