Please forward this message to anyone that can connect me to copyright owners or agents that control the license for two old Gamera titles. Below is my complete message, but in a nutshell, I've combined two Gamera films into an experimental feature that I would like to release in the U.S. and if possible, foreign markets. Thank you all for your help:

With piracy in the audio-visual markets rampant, I am writing you with a concern regarding licensing and the Copyright status of (2) old Japanese films.

Although I am told that these films most likely are protected by copyright in Asian markets, they were also edited, dubbed and released in the U.S. by AIP (American International Pictures) for TV broadcast. The U.S. releases may have fallen into the public domain.

I would like to use these two films in a new, experimental film release. I do not wish to do so without getting permission (license) or verifying the public-domain-status.

I hope that you can put me in touch with someone that can help me clarify who, if anyone owns the rights to these U.S. releases. Here are the titles:

Gamera vs Monster X aka: Gamera tai Daimaju Jaiga (1970) ON WEBSITE: http://imdb.com/title/tt0065755/

War of the Monsters aka: Daikaij kessen Gamera tai Barugon (1966)
  ON WEBSITE: http://imdb.com/title/tt0060446/

Please feel free to share this message with those that may help, such as translators, etc. and have anyone with an interest please contact me.
Kind Regards,
