Dear all,
Two Shintoho films by Teruo Ishii share the same first two kanji: those for "woman's body", read either "nyotai" or "jotai". English-language source read the first, from 1958 as "Nyotai sanbashi" (known as Flesh Pier in English), but the second, from 1960, as "Jotai uzumakito" (sometimes called Girls Without Return Tickets). As these two films are obviously linked by the similarities in title, and in addition by subject matter, it strikes me as unlikely that the readings would differ. Can anyone suggest a definitive reading? I reproduce the kanji below.
女体棧橋
女体渦巻島
