Sixties yakuza series

Dear All,
   
  A lot of the famous sixties series now have established English titles, such as Abashiri Bangaichi / Abashiri Prison. But one case where I can't find an established English title is Nihon kyokaku den. Does it have one? I have a feeling that the Japan Foundation subtitled print of the first episode reads simply "Japanese Yakuza" but obviously it really means something more like "Tales of Japanese Chivalry". Has any writer discussed these films and established a standard translation?
