France-Japan co-production, backed by Bitters End (who
also produced "All Around Us"/"Gururi No Koto").

It's too bad there was nothing from Japan in competition
but as far as Asia goes it's pretty rare for films from
Singapore and The Philippines to vie for the Palme d'Or!

News of the Directors' Fortnight selection and other
