Summary Description: Beginning assistant professorship in Japanese  
Film and Visual Culture, to begin September 2010. Candidates with  
broad-ranging geographical and topical scope beyond Japan and East  
Asia are welcomed; expertise in Japanese film is essential. Full-time  
appointment with multi-year renewal contingent on successful review.

School/Institute/Unit: Arts and Sciences

Minimum Degree Required: Ph.D.

Minimum Qualifications: All applicants MUST meet these minimum  
qualifications to be considered for the position. Requirements include  
teaching promise, research promise, and achievement appropriate to the  
department's current needs and capabilities.
