The Department of Comparative Culture in the Faculty of
Liberal Arts, Sophia University seeks an instructor for
two lecture courses during the spring semester of 2011
(early April-late July). The classes are entitled
$B!H(BIntroduction to Japanese Art$B!I(B and $B!H(BStudies in Japanese
Art History,
$B!I(B a second and third year level course, respectively.
Each class meets for ninety-minutes twice per week;
scheduling is somewhat flexible. The language of
instruction is English. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in
hand or be A.B.D.
Candidates should submit a curriculum vitae and a
description of the courses they would like to teach
(preferably in the form of syllabi, including weekly
required readings). The deadline for applications is
December 1, 2010.
