Nice meeting you all. My name is Kiyotake Ishii, a translator/coordinator at
Japan Visualmedia Translation Academy (JVTA).
I've been enjoying the conversations and discussions on the list for the past
several months, and had the honor of meeting some of the members in person.
I'm posting about the up-coming event at our school; A special workshop by
Roland Domenig. I hope it is ok to make an announcement like this.

1. Throw Away the Books, Let's Go into the Streets (Shuji Terayama, 1971)
- To watch the film, and read the excerpts from the screenplay.
2. La Marie Vison (Shuji Terayama)
- To translate or read the excerpts from the play.

JTVA is a vocational school specialized in the field of visual media translation.
This is the second time JVTA hosts Roland Domeing's special lecture since
November, 2009, where he discussed the challenges and excitements of translating
visual media contents with over 60 participants. In the coming workshop,
his focus will be on the "key to understanding visual media text/context",
using material such as Throw Away the Books, Let's Go into the Streets,
La Marie Vison and Ozu's Equinox Flower.
